Brian Luttrell receives EMS Professional of the Year

This past Thursday, surrounded by friends, family and fellow EMS family, the Haverhill Exchange Club honored Brian Luttrell as well as awarding him the Emergency Medical Professional of the Year Award. Each year the Club honors and recognizes members of the public safety community including the Haverhill Police, Fire, EMS and Sheriff’s Department.

Brian was nominated by a few of his fellow employees and below is our submission:

Brian Luttrell’s career in EMS spans more than five decades, a level of dedication and service that few can match. Beginning his career in 1975, Brian has served the communities of Massachusetts as an EMT, Advanced EMT, Paramedic, educator, mentor, and leader, earning the respect of generations of first responders along the way.

Throughout his career, Brian has consistently gone above and beyond for both his patients and his fellow providers. At PrideStar Trinity EMS, he serves as a Field Training Officer, CQI provider, ALS IFT and Ventilator Instructor, always willing to share his experience and knowledge with newer paramedics entering the profession. Many of our clinicians today are better providers because of Brian’s guidance, patience, and mentorship.

His commitment to helping others extends far beyond the ambulance. During this past holiday season, Brian quietly helped multiple families in need experience a brighter holiday and he never looks for recognition or anything in return. That selflessness reflects exactly who Brian is both in and out of uniform.

In addition to his EMS career, Brian has dedicated countless hours to community service through youth coaching, substance abuse prevention efforts, and charitable work throughout the Billerica community.

Brian Luttrell represents the very best of EMS: compassion, professionalism, humility, mentorship, and lifelong service to others. We are proud to nominate him for the Haverhill Exchange Club EMS Employee of the Year Award.

Please join us in recognizing and congratulating Brian for his extraordinary impact on our organization, our employees, and the EMS profession throughout his remarkable career. His commitment to patient care, education, mentorship, and service has touched countless lives over the years.

Thank you, Brian, for everything you have done (and continue to do) for our patients, our communities, and your fellow employees. (NO he isn’t retiring 😊, we won’t let him).
