Patient Meet and Greet – Chelmsford

In July, a Chelmsford mother experienced every parent’s worst fear when her two-week-old baby became critically ill. She called 911, and within minutes, our Pridestar Trinity EMS team and Chelmsford Fire arrived and immediately began working together to assess and stabilize her daughter.

In a heartfelt message, the baby’s mother, Amanda, shared her deep gratitude for the calm, compassionate, and expert care she received. She spoke about how the crews communicated with her every step of the way, how supported she felt during such a frightening moment, and how the team acted quickly to ensure her daughter received the higher level of care she urgently needed.

Her message was especially touching as she described the professionalism and empathy shown not only to baby Lainey, but to her as a terrified new mom. “The calmness, compassion, and teamwork displayed that day saved my daughter’s life,” Amanda shared. “I felt seen, heard, and cared for in the middle of terrifying uncertainty. I owe my heart and soul to the team that responded.”

We were honored to welcome Amanda and baby Lainey for a meet-and-greet at our Chelmsford base recently, where our crews had the opportunity to reconnect under far brighter circumstances.

“This reunion is a powerful reminder of the impact that coordinated, compassionate emergency care can have,” said David Daly, President at Pridestar Trinity EMS. “We are grateful for our team, our partners at Chelmsford Fire, and for the trust families place in us every day. Moments like these remind us why we do what we do.”
