We wanted to take a moment to recognize the incredible work of Alex and Ryan on two recent calls that truly exemplify the level of professionalism, compassion, and clinical excellence we strive for every day.

The first involved a patient who had fallen down the stairs at Sacred Hearts Church. Alex and Ryan responded during the conclusion of a funeral with full military honors underway. Despite the complexity and sensitivity of the situation, they provided excellent care while maintaining a low-key, respectful presence that did not disrupt the ceremony—a true reflection of empathy and professionalism.

On a separate occasion, a nurse at Lawrence General Hospital went out of her way to commend the same crew. During a transport, Alex and Ryan identified a life-threatening health decline in a trauma patient. Their quick action and communication led to an immediate upgrade to a Trauma STAT. The patient was stabilized with a chest tube and later med-flighted to Boston. According to the nurse, their timely intervention made all the difference, and she couldn’t say enough positive things about their care.

Alex and Ryan, thank you for your exceptional work. You represented our team with integrity, skill, and respect in two very different—but equally critical—situations. We’re proud to have you on our team.
